The Environment Protection Inspection Team sat off the nationwide environmental storm since last year. Unlike the previous environment renovation, the emphasis and intensity of Environment Protection Inspection is unprecedented this time. For magnet industry, the supply of rare earth element is also affected and eventually it caused the price increase of raw material prices.

Due to the lack of environmental protection facilities, many small companies were shut down in this storm. In order to pass the environmental inspection, big manufacturers have to stop or reduce production and this caused price increase for many kinds of industrial products. Voices coming that the Environment Protection Inspection already influenced local economy and employment.

      Actually, the contribution to economy and employment from these pollution factories is limited, they bring much more cost to the government to manage the environmental problem.

The Environmental Protection Inspection also impacts the delivery time of magnet industry. Take coating process for example, some of magnet manufacturers have closed their coating lines to reduce electroplating waste water discharges
