On July 8th, the average prices for PrNd Oxide and PrNd mischmetal reported by the Asian Metal remained stable at 358,500 yuan per ton and 448,500 yuan per ton, respectively. The PrNd market saw a slight exploration of higher prices. At the beginning of the week, the availability of low-priced oxide supplies tightened, and cost support strengthened, stabilizing metal prices. However, high-level shipments were sluggish, and there was a lack of enthusiasm in market inquiries, with metal factories receiving limited new orders, and downstream magnet manufacturers making corresponding order restocks. Prices for Dy and Tb declined, with low market sentiment and insufficient support from the raw material side, leading to lower mainstream quotes and downward adjustments in metal prices, accompanied by a subdued trading atmosphere and rare actual transactions.
