On July 17th, the average price for PrNd Oxide reported by Asian Metal decreased by 1,000 yuan to 359,500 yuan per ton. Meanwhile, the average price for PrNd mischmetal dropped by 2,000 yuan, settling at 445,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market primarily consolidated. On the oxide side, low-priced spot goods were scarce, manufacturer quotes remained stable, and cost-side support was adequate, leading to stable metal quotes. Metal factories showed little interest in shipping under inverted conditions, and there was a lack of sufficient new orders from downstream magnet manufacturers. No significant improvement was observed on the demand side, putting pressure on metal factory shipments and leading to relatively stagnant overall transactions. The markets for Dy and Tb trended downward, with an increase in low-priced shipments. Manufacturers reduced their quotes, and the inquiry atmosphere was subdued. Downstream magnet manufacturers hesitated to receive goods, resulting in sluggish shipments from metal factories.
