On August 5th, the average price of PrNd Oxide reported by Asian Metal rose by 2,000 yuan to 372,500 yuan per ton, and the average price for PrNd mischmetal also increased by 2,000 yuan to 459,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market began the week strongly with firm pricing for upstream oxides and a shortage of low-priced spot goods, leading to an upward trend in mainstream prices, supported by cost increases. Metal prices adjusted accordingly, with metal manufacturers pricing cautiously and closely monitoring fluctuations in raw material prices. The markets for Dy and Tb metals also showed an upward trend, primarily driven by the oxide sector. Manufacturers set high prices, and downstream magnetic material enterprises focused mainly on necessary restocking.
