On August 8th, the average prices for PrNd Oxide and PrNd mischmetal reported by Asian Metal remained stable at 370,500 yuan per ton and 458,500 yuan per ton, respectively. The PrNd market operated robustly, with oxide prices primarily consolidating. Manufacturers quoted higher prices, leading to a decrease in low-priced stock, supported by cost factors, while metal prices remained generally stable. Downstream demand was primarily for immediate needs, with magnet manufacturers hesitant to procure at high levels, focusing on pushing for lower prices. The Dy and Tb markets continued to show weakness, with oxide price centers moving downward due to poor raw material trends and metal prices adjusting downwards. Inquiries in the market were scarce, manufacturers had relatively ample inventory, and purchasing intentions were not strong.
