On August 14th, Asian Metal reported that the average price of PrNd Oxide rose by 4,000 yuan per ton to 382,500 yuan per ton, while the price of PrNd mischmetal increased by 6,000 yuan to 474,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market continued its upward trend, with oxide prices rising and transaction prices adjusting upward in tandem. Low-priced stocks were hard to find, prompting downstream metal factories to follow up with raw material purchases. The market atmosphere was vibrant, and metal factories increased their prices accordingly. Downstream buyers preferred to “buy on the rise rather than on the fall,” enhancing the overall inquiry climate, although purchases remained prudent. Prices for Dy and Tb also rose, mainly driven by raw materials, leading to adjusted upward prices from metal factories. The purchasing sentiment among magnet manufacturers improved, making it challenging to inquire at lower prices.
