On August 16th, Asian Metal highlighted that PrNd Oxide’s average price jumped to 384,500 yuan per ton, marking a 2,000 yuan increase. Similarly, PrNd mischmetal saw a rise, reaching 477,500 yuan per ton—an uptick of 3,000 yuan from the prior day. The PrNd market maintained its upward momentum, with separation factories holding back on sales, leading to strong high-level offers for PrNd Oxide and a related increase in mischmetal prices. However, inquiries were less active than upstream trends, as magnet manufacturers had already wrapped up their weekly purchasing and shifted their attention to regular inquiries. Meanwhile, the Dy and Tb markets remained steady, with consistent prices from metal producers and moderate downstream interest.
