On September 11th, Asian Metal reported that the average price of PrNd Oxide dropped by 12,000 yuan to 416,500 yuan per ton, while PrNd mischmetal decreased by 10,000 yuan, landing at 516,500 yuan per ton. The overall PrNd market trended weakly, despite a slight price bump the previous afternoon. Separation plants largely adopted a wait-and-see stance, with few proactive shipments, as insufficient cost support drove metal price adjustments. Inquiry activity remained sparse, and magnet manufacturers showed weak purchasing interest, leading to sluggish shipments from metal manufacturers. Meanwhile, the Dy and Tb markets continued to struggle, with a lackluster inquiry environment, low interest in quotes from metal manufacturers, and only average downstream demand. Few purchase inquiries resulted in a downward shift in mainstream pricing.
