On September 12th, Asian Metal reported that the average price of PrNd Oxide dipped by 3,000 yuan to 413,500 yuan per ton, while PrNd mischmetal also fell by 3,000 yuan, landing at 513,500 yuan per ton. Despite these slight decreases, the PrNd market saw a modest price uptick due to reduced low-price shipments and tightening low-priced inventories, offering some cost-side support and leading to a corresponding rise in metal prices. Metal manufacturers had limited spot quantities, and high bidding at the Baotou Rare Earth Products Exchange helped stabilize market sentiment. Downstream magnet manufacturers indicated purchasing intentions, waiting for prices to level off before committing. The Dy and Tb metal markets experienced minimal fluctuations, with manufacturers maintaining stable prices amid a quiet inquiry atmosphere. Downstream stocks were sufficient, with little urgency to buy, resulting in few actual transactions.
