On September 19th, Asian Metal reported that the average price for PrNd Oxide rose by 3,000 yuan to 416,500 yuan per ton, with PrNd mischmetal also increasing by 3,000 yuan, reaching 515,500 yuan per ton. The Praseodymium Neodymium market trended strongly, with optimism among merchants, firm upstream oxide quotes, and high transaction prices making low-priced goods scarce, thus reinforcing cost-side support. Metal prices were adjusted upward accordingly. The inquiry atmosphere remained active, with downstream magnet manufacturers making essential replenishments while awaiting the results of major manufacturers’ tenders. Meanwhile, the Dy and Tb markets also trended upward, with increased oxide market inquiries and manufacturers raising quotes due to limited low-priced goods. Metal prices followed suit, although further follow-up on actual orders is needed.
