On September 20th, Asian Metal reported that the average price for PrNd Oxide rose by 4,000 yuan to 420,500 yuan per ton, while PrNd mischmetal increased by 5,000 yuan, reaching 520,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market continued its upward trend, with firm oxide quotations and a scarcity of low-priced goods providing strong cost-side support, pushing metal prices higher. Downstream magnet manufacturers faced limited capacity to purchase at high levels, mainly seeking lower-priced goods for smaller replenishments, resulting in stagnant actual transactions. Dy prices remained stable, with steady manufacturer quotes and typical market inquiries, though high-level shipments faced pressure. Tb prices, driven primarily by oxides, increased, with metal prices following suit, though transaction prices still reflected some inversion.
