On September 24th, Asian Metal reported that the average prices for PrNd Oxide and PrNd mischmetal rose by 3,000 yuan, reaching 426,500 yuan per ton and 526,500 yuan per ton, respectively. The PrNd market continued its upward momentum, fueled by an active inquiry atmosphere for oxides, limited spot availability from separation plants, firm quotations, and strong cost-side support driving corresponding price increases for metals. Major factories pressed on with pre-festival tenders, focusing on just-in-time purchases, while many merchants remained optimistic and bullish about the market heading into the festival. The Dy and Tb markets saw minor fluctuations, with Dy staying stable and Tb Oxide prices rising. Low-priced Tb metal remained scarce, making high-priced transactions more challenging due to price inversions.
