On October 8th, Asian Metal reported that the average prices for PrNd Oxide and PrNd mischmetal remained stable at 424,500 yuan per ton and 528,500 yuan per ton, respectively. Post-holiday, the rare earth market showed strength, with futures prices surging to high levels, prompting traders to actively follow up with quotes. Separation plants were hesitant to quote, waiting for the announcement of listed rare earth product prices. Metal prices were adjusted accordingly. Market inquiry activity was moderate, as downstream magnetic manufacturers showed low purchasing intent, mostly adopting a wait-and-see approach. Dy and Tb prices sharply increased, driven by oxides. Factories were reluctant to sell, with few proactive shipments and upward adjustments in metal quotes. Downstream inquiries remained limited.
