On October 9th, Asian Metal reported that the average price for PrNd Oxide jumped by 9,000 yuan to 433,500 yuan per ton, while PrNd mischmetal rose by 3,000 yuan to 531,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market saw an initial surge in sentiment, followed by a slight pullback as mainstream oxide prices softened due to poor high-position shipments. Enterprises with low-priced stock were reluctant to ship, leading to weaker cost-side support. This caused a decline in PrNd mischmetal prices, with few high-level transactions taking place. Downstream inquiries remained cautious, with magnetic material companies purchasing primarily based on immediate needs. Meanwhile, the Dy market saw prices pull back due to sluggish high-position shipments of oxides, prompting manufacturers and metal factories to adjust prices downward, as downstream buyers drove hard bargains and transactions were limited. The Tb market, however, stayed firm, with rising oxide prices and a scarcity of low-priced stock driven by increasing costs.
