On October 10th, Asian Metal quoted the average price of PrNd Oxide at 433,500 yuan per ton, holding steady from the previous trading day, while PrNd mischmetal increased by 2,000 yuan to 533,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market showed signs of weakness, with oxide prices slightly decreasing due to insufficient cost support, causing a corresponding drop in metal prices. Market inquiries were limited, and overall activity levels remained low. Large magnet manufacturers carried out moderate tendering, while small and medium-sized enterprises stayed cautious, mostly observing and carefully entering the market for purchases. The Dy and Tb markets experienced weak declines, as low-priced oxide sales increased and mainstream prices edged downward, leading to lower metal prices and a lack of enthusiasm for new orders.
