On October 12th, Asian Metal reported that the average price of PrNd Oxide was 472,500 yuan per ton, down by 2,000 yuan from the previous day, while PrNd mischmetal dropped by 3,000 yuan, landing at 530,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market continued its downward trend with low inquiry activity, declining oxide prices, and weakened cost support, resulting in lower metal prices. Downstream magnet manufacturers focused on depleting pre-holiday stock, as frequent raw material fluctuations kept merchants waiting for the right moment to re-enter the market. Dy and Tb markets reflected weak sentiment, with reduced prices, limited proactive purchasing, and sluggish shipments from metal manufacturers, leading to stalemate transactions.
