On October 21, PrNd Oxide prices averaged 421,500 yuan per ton, according to Asian Metal, reflecting an increase of 2,000 yuan from the previous working day. Similarly, PrNd mischmetal prices reached 524,500 yuan per ton, also up by 2,000 yuan per ton. The PrNd market continues to trend upward, with firm oxide prices and limited low-cost spot availability. Strong cost-side support is driving metal prices higher. Downstream magnet manufacturers are replenishing inventory as needed, with a focus on bids from major producers today. Prices for Dy and Tb are also climbing, influenced by rising oxide prices and fewer low-cost shipments, leading to increases in metal prices. Inquiry activity remains moderate, and actual transactions are pending further observation.
