On October 22, the average prices for PrNd Oxide and PrNd metal quoted by Asian Metal were 421,500 yuan per ton and 524,500 yuan per ton, respectively, remaining stable compared to the previous working day. The PrNd market is operating on the weak side, with oxide prices declining and the level of market inquiries decreasing. Support from the cost side is insufficient, leading to a drop in metal prices. High-priced shipments are sluggish, and large downstream magnetic material manufacturers mainly focus on negotiating lower prices for purchases, while small and medium-sized enterprises are mostly observing the market, showing weak purchasing enthusiasm. The Dy and Tb markets are trending downward, with insufficient inquiries for oxides, causing pressure on high-priced offers. Metal prices are being adjusted downward, with a weak inquiry atmosphere and insufficient purchasing motivation from downstream, resulting in overall stagnant transactions.
