On October 30, PrNd Oxide and PrNd mischmetal prices, as quoted by Asian Metal, held steady at 425,500 yuan per ton and 523,500 yuan per ton, respectively, compared to the previous day. The PrNd market is underperforming, with declining oxide prices and increased shipments, resulting in lower mainstream quotes. Limited cost-side support is contributing to declining metal prices, and with no significant uptick in demand, inquiry levels remain low, leading to few completed transactions. The Dy and Tb markets are showing moderate strength, supported by high oxide prices and cost-side factors. Metal manufacturers are largely holding firm on their quotes, while downstream magnetic material companies are purchasing on an as-needed basis. However, actual high-priced transactions are showing weakness, with merchants focusing on negotiating for lower prices.
