On December 4, PrNd Oxide prices averaged 413,500 yuan per ton, reflecting a decrease of 1,000 yuan from the previous trading day, as reported by Asian Metal. Similarly, PrNd mischmetal averaged 508,500 yuan per ton, also dropping by 1,000 yuan. The PrNd market exhibited a weak trend, with slight declines in upstream oxide prices creating pressure on high-priced shipments. Limited cost-side support further constrained the market, and despite high quotes from metal manufacturers, actual transactions were challenging. While low-priced spot products remained attractive, downstream magnet manufacturers displayed low purchasing intent, leading to minimal order activity and few successful transactions.
The Dy market stayed weak and steady, showing little price movement, while DyFe alloy sales continued to struggle with poor performance. Meanwhile, Tb Oxide prices saw a further decline, driven by insufficient cost-side support. Tb metal prices held steady for now, though signs of a downward trend are becoming apparent.
