On December 19, the average quoted price for PrNd Oxide on Asian Metal fell by 6,000 yuan per ton to 396,500 yuan per ton, while the average quoted price for PrNd mischmetal decreased by 5,000 yuan per ton to 493,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market experienced a notable decline, with upstream oxide prices weakening further and mainstream quotes holding at low levels. Cost support remained insufficient, and the market atmosphere was subdued, with severe price inversions affecting metal producers. The market was characterized by cautious pricing and limited actual sales, as traders largely adopted a wait-and-see approach.
Dy and Tb prices also declined, reflecting weak demand and a lack of positive market drivers. Metal prices continued their downward trajectory, in line with the overall weak sentiment prevailing across the market.
