On December 20, the average quoted price for PrNd Oxide on Asian Metal decreased by 4,000 yuan per ton to 392,500 yuan per ton, while the average quoted price for PrNd mischmetal fell by 4,000 yuan per ton to 489,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market began to show signs of stabilizing after recent declines. Tightening supplies of low-priced oxide contributed to a slight improvement in market activity, although actual transaction volumes remained limited. Cost support was moderate, but the atmosphere in the metal market stayed subdued. High-end price support remained insufficient, leading to slight downward adjustments in mainstream quotes, and manufacturers continued to report poor production and sales performance.
In the Dy market, prices remained weakly stable, with minimal fluctuations. Tb Oxide prices experienced a slight decline, and the overall metal market remained quiet. While manufacturers maintained stable quotes, downstream purchasing sentiment remained low, reflecting ongoing challenges in stimulating demand.
