On December 25, the average quoted price for PrNd Oxide on Asian Metal increased by 3,000 yuan per ton to 399,500 yuan per ton, while the average quoted price for PrNd mischmetal remained stable at 491,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market maintained its upward trend, supported by firm quotes from separation enterprises and a reduction in low-priced sales. Strong cost support drove upward adjustments in metal quotes. However, downstream magnet manufacturers exhibited low enthusiasm for purchasing, focusing primarily on meeting immediate demand rather than engaging in large-scale restocking.
The Dy and Tb markets showed signs of strengthening, with an increase in oxide inquiry quotes leading to corresponding adjustments in metal prices. Despite this, actual transactions remained challenging, reflecting cautious buying behavior and a slow recovery in demand.
