On January 10, the average quoted prices for PrNd Oxide and PrNd mischmetal on Asian Metal remained stable at 400,500 yuan per ton and 492,500 yuan per ton, respectively. The PrNd market exhibited slight upward momentum as low-priced oxide supplies tightened. Manufacturers maintained firm quotes, supported by moderate cost-side backing, which led to a slight increase in metal prices. However, new orders for metals remained limited, with downstream magnet manufacturers continuing to prioritize just-in-time replenishment strategies.
The Dy and Tb markets operated on a weaker note, with oxide prices declining amid limited inquiry activity. Downstream order releases were insufficient, and procurement prices remained at low levels, placing pressure on metal manufacturers’ sales and overall market activity.
