On January 14th, the average quoted price for PrNd Oxide on Asian Metal increased by 2,000 yuan per ton, reaching 405,500 yuan per ton. Similarly, the average price for PrNd mischmetal rose by 3,000 yuan per ton, hitting 499,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market continued its upward trend, with oxide prices seeing further increases. Merchants remained reluctant to part with inventory, leading to a scarcity of low-priced spot supplies. With cost-side support remaining strong, metal prices adjusted accordingly. Ahead of the holiday period, downstream magnet manufacturers remained active in procurement.
In parallel, the Dy and Tb markets also experienced growth. Oxide quotes held steady at high levels, with metal producers adjusting their prices in response. Downstream merchants replenished their stocks as necessary.
