On January 15th, the average quoted price for PrNd Oxide on Asian Metal rose by 4,000 yuan per ton, reaching 409,500 yuan per ton, while the price for PrNd mischmetal increased by 2,000 yuan per ton, reaching 501,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market continued its upward momentum, with oxide prices further climbing. Spot availability remained limited, while market activity surged. Transaction prices even reached 410,000 yuan per ton. Strong cost-side support continued to drive metal price increases, while the difficulty in replenishing raw materials prompted metal manufacturers to take a more cautious approach to sales.
Meanwhile, the Dy and Tb markets saw continued strength, with both oxide quotes and transaction prices trending higher. Traders remained active in the market, but manufacturers appeared cautious, with limited willingness to sell at current prices.
