On January 21st, the average quoted price for PrNd Oxide increased by 2,000 yuan, reaching 411,500 yuan per ton, while the price for PrNd mischmetal remained steady at 506,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market showed an upward trend, driven mainly by futures markets. Traders continued to hold onto their stocks, contributing to higher mainstream prices. Cost-side support remained strong, leading to upward adjustments in metal prices. However, with downstream magnet manufacturers entering their holiday period, procurement activities slowed.
The Dy and Tb oxide markets also saw price increases, with manufacturers maintaining firm prices due to ongoing cost support. Consequently, Tb metal prices followed the upward trend, while DyFe alloy prices remained stable.
