On February 24th, the average quoted price for PrNd Oxide increased by 3,000 yuan to 446,500 yuan per ton, while the price for PrNd mischmetal rose by 3,000 yuan to 546,500 yuan per ton, compared to the previous working day. The PrNd market saw a significant surge, driven by an increase in futures prices, which boosted market confidence. The mainstream oxide prices rose, supported by strong cost-side factors, and metal prices followed suit. However, downstream magnet manufacturers remained cautious and hesitant to make high-level purchases. Actual metal transactions were limited and required further follow-up.
Dy and Tb prices also increased, with oxide prices showing support and metal prices trending upward. Downstream companies replenished stock as needed, although production and sales performance remained moderate.
