On February 28th, the average quoted prices for PrNd Oxide and PrNd Mischmetal were 445,500 yuan per ton and 545,500 yuan per ton, respectively, both down by 1,000 yuan compared to the previous working day. The PrNd market showed signs of weakness, with oxide prices declining and high-level sales facing increasing pressure. Cost-side support was lacking, prompting metal manufacturers to lower their prices. Downstream magnet manufacturers remained cautious with their purchases, focusing on low-priced options, and overall sales data from metal producers underperformed.
Dy prices remained weak and stable, with low inquiry activity and downstream procurement concentrated on lower prices. Meanwhile, Tb prices continued their upward trend, supported strongly by the oxide market. Sellers showed reluctance to release low-priced stock, resulting in firm quotes. Tb metal prices followed the upward movement of oxide prices.
