On March 6th, the average quoted price for PrNd Oxide on Asian Metal declined by 1,000 yuan, settling at 441,500 yuan per ton, while PrNd mischmetal dropped by 2,000 yuan to 539,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market remained in a consolidation phase, with oxide prices holding steady and low-priced spot supplies remaining scarce, creating pressure on high-level sales. Cost-side support was moderate, and while metal prices remained stable, inquiry activity was subdued, leaving metal producers struggling to move inventory.
The Dy market held steady, though merchant sentiment was neutral and downstream purchasing interest remained weak. Meanwhile, Tb prices declined, as market sentiment weakened and procurement took place at lower price levels.
