On March 11th, Asian Metal reported the average price of PrNd Oxide at 443,500 yuan per ton, reflecting an increase of 1,000 yuan per ton from the previous working day. Meanwhile, the average price of PrNd mischmetal remained unchanged at 540,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market continued its upward trend, driven by rising upstream oxide prices. Merchant sentiment remained optimistic, pushing transaction prices higher. Cost-side support was firm, leading to an upward adjustment in metal prices, while low-priced spot inventory became increasingly scarce. Downstream magnet manufacturers remained cautious in purchasing, basing orders strictly on actual demand.
In the heavy rare earth market, Tb prices edged slightly higher, as the supply of low-cost inventory tightened. Meanwhile, the Dy market remained stable, with limited inquiry activity and low transaction volumes.
