On March 12th, Asian Metal reported the average quoted price for PrNd Oxide at 444,500 yuan per ton, reflecting an increase of 1,000 yuan per ton from the previous working day. Meanwhile, the average quoted price for PrNd mischmetal rose by 2,000 yuan per ton to 542,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market continued its upward trajectory, with oxide prices rebounding from lower levels and low-priced spot supplies becoming increasingly scarce. Manufacturer quotes remained firm, leading to a tightening of low-cost metal inventory. However, downstream enterprises maintained cautious purchasing strategies, sourcing materials strictly as needed, while high-level sales remained under pressure.
The DyFe alloy market remained stable, with limited downstream activity. In contrast, Tb metal prices moved higher, primarily driven by stronger support from oxide prices. In response, metal manufacturers adjusted their quotes upward.
