On March 13th, Asian Metal reported that the average quoted prices for PrNd Oxide and PrNd mischmetal remained steady at 444,500 yuan per ton and 542,500 yuan per ton, respectively, unchanged from the previous working day. The PrNd market entered a consolidation phase, with merchant sentiment turning more reserved, while manufacturer quotes remained stable. Oxide-side support was still at a reasonable level, though downstream magnet manufacturers primarily engaged in minimal, just-in-time purchasing, favoring lower-priced options.
The DyFe alloy market held steady, though manufacturers faced challenges in securing high-level sales, with limited spot orders being reported. In contrast, Tb prices moved higher, supported by stronger oxide market performance. As a result, corresponding metal prices were adjusted upward, with most transactions occurring through tenders from large downstream magnet manufacturers.
