On March 17th, Asian Metal reported that the average quoted prices for PrNd Oxide and PrNd mischmetal remained unchanged at 444,500 yuan per ton and 542,500 yuan per ton, respectively. The PrNd Oxide market showed relative strength, largely influenced by futures market activity, with mainstream quotes holding firm despite limited actual transactions. Cost-side support remained acceptable, keeping metal prices stable. Metal manufacturers displayed little urgency in selling inventory, while downstream order volumes remained restricted, with production and sales figures falling short of expectations. Major magnet companies were primarily waiting on tender results before making further procurement decisions.
In the Dy and Tb markets, prices weakened, reflecting a decline in market sentiment. Mainstream quotes trended downward, and low inquiry activity placed additional pressure on high-level sales.
