On March 19th, Asian Metal reported that the average quoted prices for PrNd Oxide and PrNd mischmetal remained steady at 444,500 yuan per ton and 544,500 yuan per ton, respectively, unchanged from the previous working day. The PrNd market operated on a weaker note, with oxide quotes seeing slight increases, though cost-side support had weakened, leading to a modest rise in metal prices. Downstream magnet inquiries remained lackluster, and metal manufacturers continued to struggle with sales pressure, as actual transactions remained limited.
The Dy and Tb markets continued on a downward trend, as oxide-side support proved insufficient. Downstream demand was mediocre, with magnet companies remaining cautious in their purchases. Meanwhile, metal manufacturers were infrequent in following up on orders, engaging mostly in price-pressured procurement.
