On March 24th, Asian Metal reported that the average quoted price for PrNd Oxide was 443,500 yuan per ton, down 1,000 yuan from the previous working day, while the average quoted price for PrNd mischmetal remained stable at 544,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market exhibited signs of weakness, with futures prices trending downward at the start of the week, leading to a softening market. Some traders resorted to selling at lower prices due to insufficient cost-side support, causing a decline in metal prices. Inquiry activity remained lackluster, and metal sales faced slight pressure.
Dysprosium and Terbium prices also saw a decline, driven by news from Myanmar, which further weakened merchant sentiment. Mainstream oxide quotes decreased, followed by corresponding adjustments in metal prices. Downstream purchasing interest remained low, continuing the trend from previous days.
