On March 27, Asian Metal reported that the average quoted prices for PrNd Oxide and PrNd mischmetal remained stable at 440,500 yuan per ton and 541,500 yuan per ton, respectively, unchanged from the previous working day. The PrNd market displayed moderate strength, largely influenced by movements in the futures market. Overall, oxide prices saw an increase, bolstered by stronger cost-side support, and metal manufacturers’ quotes remained stable. However, inquiry activity was low, with downstream magnet manufacturers adopting a wait-and-see approach, entering the market with caution.
In the Dy and Tb markets, inquiry activity picked up slightly, with low-priced oxide supplies tightening. Metal prices held steady, but inquiry enthusiasm remained weak, and demand continued to be tepid, resulting in limited actual transactions.
