On March 28, Asian Metal reported that the average quoted prices for PrNd Oxide and PrNd mischmetal remained steady at 440,500 yuan per ton and 541,500 yuan per ton, respectively, unchanged from the previous working day. PrNd prices experienced a slight uplift, driven by movements in the futures market. Oxide prices rose overall, and market sentiment improved, as evidenced by firming quotes from metal manufacturers. Inquiry activity was moderate, and downstream magnet manufacturers began placing tenders for procurement.
In the Dy and Tb markets, inquiry activity was strong, with low-priced oxide supplies becoming increasingly scarce. Metal prices adjusted upward accordingly, with inquiries mainly driven by immediate needs. However, overall demand remained moderate, leading to a limited number of actual transactions.
