On March 31st, Asian Metal reported that the average quoted price for PrNd Oxide increased by 2,000 yuan per ton to 442,500 yuan per ton, while the average quoted price for PrNd mischmetal also rose by 2,000 yuan per ton to 543,500 yuan per ton. The PrNd market was on an upward trend, with oxide prices climbing and low-priced spot supplies becoming scarce. Robust cost-side support contributed to higher metal prices. However, overall inquiry activity remained moderate, and the number of actual transactions was limited.
In the Dy and Tb markets, prices stayed relatively strong, with oxide prices increasing and corresponding rises in metal prices. Downstream purchases were made on an as-needed basis, though high-end transactions continued to face pressure.
