On April 3, Asian Metal reported that the average quoted price for PrNd Oxide was 441,500 yuan per ton—down 1,000 yuan from the previous working day—while the average quoted price for PrNd mischmetal decreased by 2,000 yuan to 541,500 yuan per ton. With the holiday approaching, the PrNd market remained steady. Oxide prices held stable, supported by moderate cost-side backing, and metal prices remained overall stable, with manufacturers quoting at relatively high levels. However, downstream procurement was still focused on driving prices lower, resulting in a generally subdued inquiry atmosphere and limited actual transactions.
In the Dy and Tb markets, prices continued their upward trend. The oxide segment showed a noticeable increase, and metal prices followed suit, although follow-up on transactions remained weak.
