Radially Magnetized Magnet

Radially magnetized magnet, also known as uni-pole magnetized magnet, refers to the magnetization direction of the ring magnet is along its radial vector, therefore, the external surface has one polarity and the internal surface with the opposite polarity. Radially magnetized magnets are available in ferrite magnet and Neodymium magnet. For anisotropic magnet, radially orientation is the precondition and key to the subsequent radially magnetization. Magnetizing fixture for radially magnetized magnets is made up of two axial coils which having its axis in common but connected in opposite phase, thus generate a repulsive magnetic field between the two coils. Radially magnetized magnets have already served for part of linear actuator applications.

Radially Magnetized Magnet

Radially magnetized magnets are commonly select magnetic field strength waveform as the comparative measurement of magnetic performance. Magnetic field of either external surface or internal surface is basically distributed in straight line which totally different from other magnetization patterns.
