Rare Earth disc magnet is round coin-formed Rare Earth magnet of varying diameter and thickness. The thickness of Rare Earth disc magnet should be smaller than its diameter. The vast majority of disc magnet are magnetized along the axial direction and applied to a wide range of industrial and civil application, include regular holding use and speaker magnet. Diametrically magnetization pattern is also available for Rare Earth disc magnet and almost all of diametrically magnetized magnet are served as the sensor magnets.
Classifications of Rare Earth Disc Magnets
Rare Earth disc magnets are available in SmCo disc magnets and Neodymium disc magnets. Neodymium magnets have significantly strength in magnetic performance, but inferior in corrosion resistance and high temperature stability in comparison with Samarium Cobalt magnets.
