Some Introduction to Magnetic Clamping System Magnet

Magnetic clamping system utilized sintered Neodymium magnet to generate the strong magnetic field on the plate, and switch function can be achieved via pole reversals of low-coercivity cast AlNiCo magnet. Magnetic clamping system can greatly enhance the change-over time and thus commonly used in different sectors of industry nowadays, especially injection molding, die casting, and machining.

Working Principle of Magnetic Clamping Technology

The magnetic module of the system includes cast AlNiCo magnets, sintered Neodymium magnets, and copper coils. AlNiCo magnets should be wrapped by coil. The magnetic circuit is balanced within the plate under non-working condition, then polarity of AlNiCo magnets is reverse after the electric current is supplied and thus generate strong clamping force on the plate surface. Clamping force can be permanently maintained unless demagnetizing current is supplied.
