Large Neodymium Magnet

Large Neodymium magnet refers to sintered Neodymium magnet with large size and unit weight. The upper limit of dimension for large Neodymium magnets is primarily governed by maximum pressing capacity of powder forming press. Large Neodymium magnets were produced by splicing several pieces of regular-sized Neodymium magnet together in the past owing to the limitations of the molding process. Large Neodymium magnets are available in arc magnets, block magnets, circular magnets, and ring magnets. In addition to large Neodymium arc magnets, the other three magnets have regular shapes and basically able to realize near net-shape manufacturing. The collision between large Neodymium magnets will produce various types of defects, therefore, surface treatment of large Neodymium magnets should utilize rack plating. Ultra-high magnetic field applications are not merely needing higher magnet grade but also larger sizes. Thereby, ultra-high magnetic field applications have significantly advanced the application of large Neodymium magnets, including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), high-power wind turbine, and magnetic separation.

Packaging of Large Neodymium Magnet

Packaging methods of sintered Neodymium magnets are governed by the magnet’s size and custom packaging requirements. Generally, large Neodymium magnets are individually wrapped in bubble film and arranged in rows with sizable plastic or wooden spacers between each product.
